A good nights sleep and a new year is here

Well last night was new years eve. Mom took both the kids so we could enjoy an evening to ourselves. Kevin and I went to a wine bar and enjoyed a nice bottle of wine and cheese platter. Then we were off to an early dinner at Red Lobster. We were home by 7. Kevin built a nice fire, snuggled, and we watched some tv. We opened a bottle of champagne and drank that. Then I was in bed by 9:30. Took two sleeping pills and I was out. I was looking for a good nights sleep over seeing the new years come in. I woke up at 7:30. It was great. I started off the new years refreshed. We'll see how well mom did last night.
