Our Big Kindergarten Mary

Today was Mary's first day of Kindergarten! She was so excited. I think I was more excited than her though. She did great. She let me get her all cute and pretty.
Teresa had to stand with her in front of the school sign. So cute.

She went right into her room and found her name and told me to go! Such a big girl. Teresa wanted to stay and play with the toys.Mary was so excited when I picked her up. She said, more than once, that she's loved school and that it was awesome! She can't wait to go back tomorrow!! YEAH!!

Lincoln Howard Lundgren

I would like to introduce you to my nephew, Lincoln Howard Lundgren. He's the most precious thing. He was born August 25th at 2:47pm. He was 7 pounds and 7 ounces and 20 inches long. Such a cutie pie.

Below is the first time I got to meet him. Such a peanut.

The proud new mommy!

The proud new daddy.

The new Lundgren family.

The proud papa with his first grandson, with his middle name!

The proud Nana!

And the proud Aunt Bean!

The kids were so excited to meet their new cousin.

Teresa was so cute. In the picture below she is saying 'hi' to him.

They loved holding him.

Teresa was very excited to hold him, as you can see.

Here is baby's first home.

And here is where is bedroom is. Amy was very creative in making a space for him. It is right next to her side of the bed in the closet. The bassinet fits in there just perfect!

We love that little guy so much already. He's so sweet and doesn't make any peeps. Can't wait to spoil him rotten!!

Being Cork Creative

While we were in Paso I saw this cork wreath at one of the wineries. Well, I said "I CAN DO THAT!" And I have! Here is my new craft. It's easy and cheap to make. I am recycling my corks as well! I'm pretty proud of myself!

This one, below, is made all out of Christian Lazo corks. We are good friends with this winery, and I had her send me a box of corks. This is my Christian Lazo wreath!

I am a cork wreath making fool! If you want one, let me know! I'll make them free for now, but once I get my product out there, they'll cost. Great Christmas presents. *HINT HINT* = )

Sneaky kitty

The other night we put the kids to bed and later we could not find the cat. Kevin goes upstairs to find this. So adorable. Kitty was so content with his Mary.

Beach Beach Beach!!!!

We have been having so much fun going to the beach lately. Love the beach.

Here are the girls with some fun friends one day at the beach. Then two days later we went tot he beach again with Jim, Linda, and Kiah.

Mary got burried in the sand.

Then it was Teresa's turn.

Miss Linda was enjoying the beach and some feet up time!
Kevin was so good taking the kids out to put their feet in the water.

Fun fun times at the beach. It's great living in So Cal and only 45 minutes away fromt he fun!

First Hair Cut

Teresa's hair is finally long enough to get it cut. She was all excited. She had picked out the barbie car she wanted to sit in and was ready, until, it came time. Then she didn't want to sit on her own. She'd only sit in my lap while the lady cut her hair.
This is the before picture.
And here is the after pic with her hair all cute.

Cutting just a little in the back brought out her curls. So cute.

Mary also got her hair trimmed. She is a pro at this.

And her pretty hair at the end. She got braids and flowers.

It is actually a rip off to get kids hair cut, but it was Teresa's first one so I had to do it right.

Just the two of us AND wine!

Friday we were off for a weekend of wine in Paso Robles! Our first stop was Morro Bay to spend a night at Gary's, Kevin's Brother. Then Saturday morning we left Mary there and us two were off to wine country.
Here is mary sleeping on the way there.
We were ready for some fun time w/out kids. And we did just that. This is me and our winery friend, Guadalupe, at Christian Lazo Wines.

Saturday night we stayed down town so we could walk around and have some fun.

Sunday we stayed at Tobin James winery in a house they have. It was awesome!!!

It was so super relaxing.

the bathroom was awesome!

A huge Jacuzzi tub and duel head shower

I could have laid in that bed forever.
It was amazing!!

We played cards at night at this lovely table.

out front of the room was a shuffle board. So much fun!

It was a nice relaxing weekend together. We can't wait to go back!!
