Off to another year

Well, this morning I woke up to being in a new age bracket of 30. Well, I won't officially be 30 until 10:14am. I'm not unhappy about it. I have all I want in life. I have a wonderful husband and a super baby and a family that couldn't love me more. What more could I ask for?!
I woke up to need to wake up Kevin to get ready for work. Then to a happy baby who gave me a birthday kiss. = ) Now off to my day. Today we are going camping for the weekend in Capenteria. This has become a new birthday tradition. I like it. Weather the past two years we have gotten lucky. I'm not so sure what we'll get this year, but that 's ok, we'll all be together. It will be us, my parents, our friend Linda from Mexico, and our friends Waldie and Leslie. We don't get to use our motorhome much, so this gives us an excuse to use it.
So, my plans for this year...........................1- Keep living life to the fullest and have fun. 2- Enjoy my family, immediate and extended. 3- Be pregnant one last time, at some point. 4- Try to organize my house a little better.
I think that's all I can put on myself for the moment. If I do other things that is a bonus. So, off to another year. Back to packing and cleaning the house so I can have a clean(er) house to come home to. Pray for good weather for us.

Cozy Time

It's been cold here at night. Some may not think it's cold, but it is to me. So we build a fire and have our 'cozy' time. Now Mary asks for her blankie and sits in her chair with her milk and is cozy. She says cozy too. It's really cute.

work out time

Mary must miss her walking frineds. I belong to a group called Stroller STrides which is where a group of moms get together with their kids and walk with our strollers and do exercises with these bands. Well today Mary came around the corner with both bands trying to work out with one and saying 'walk walk'. I took off the last two months to save money, because it does cost to do this. I know what you're thinking, why do you need to pay to walk. But there is an actual instructor that makes us exercise and do things for an hour. It is ilke having your own personal trainer. Anyway, so I will start back on it next month. It will make my body happier and Mary too.

how much wine is too much?

So this weekend was the first of two to celebrate turning 30. Kevin's best friend Sal and his wife joined us. She actually is only 6 days younger than me so it was a combo trip. We stayed in a nice B&B where you got to drink all the wine you could for FREE! SO, we took advantage of that, of course. Us girls were smart enough to go to bed early both nights, unlike the boys who had headaches in the morning. Wine hang overs are the worst. It was so relaxing. We missed Mary but were glad to get some time to ourselves.

Today my mom had Mary for the morning while mom got to go get beautiful and get her hair done. Grandma took Mary to see Great Grandma. Of course, she was adorable and did all her cute things. But what made them laugh the most was when they were going to leave. Mary ziped up her diaper bag, slung it over her shoulder and walked to the door. She turned around and said, clearly, 'bye bye'. Great Grandma couldn't be upset about them leaving anymore, she could only laugh.

Naked it now a game

I was not able to get a picture of this since my camera was downstairs, but, I went to get Mary this morning and there she was NAKED. She was looking at her diaper to see how to take that off next. Thankfully I got her before that game off. I do have to say she is a pretty cute naked kid though. = )

We Love Our Bath Time

Mary loves to take a bath. She is constantly asking to take one. She knows she gets one in the morning. SO, today I'm on the computer (which is in our dining room) and she is sitting on the floor playing in a box of BBQ things. She's there saying "bath, bath". So I look at her and tell her to wait a little longer. I go back to my computer stuff. Then I look over again and she is half undressed. She has the BBQ basting brush and pretending to take a bath. I couldn't help but laugh. So, I just let her play. Next time I turn around she has everything but her diaper and socks off. I guess that meant it was time to go take a bath since she was naked already. So, off we went to take a bath.

Ok, so this is a cute butt crack. Mary has this thing of sticking her hand down her pants and pushing her pants and diaper down. This is the result. There's no cuter butt crach than this.

off to a new year

So, New Years wasn't anything much more than another night at home. Mary was in bed at 8 and mom and dad used tooth picks to see midnight. Such is the life of parents, I guess. Now off to a year full of fun. This month is already full of fun birthday stuff. I turn 30 on the 31st. I'm sure I'll have a couple stories about that!
