This 4th Of July we went camping at a house in Merced. Mom and dad joined us as well. Corie's Aunt and Uncles house. This was our 'camp spot' in their back yard. Behind that was this lake they built with ducks and fish and an island. It was so cool
This was Fred the duck (the white one). He knew his name too. When you yelled out Fred he'd look over at you. It was too funny. 
Mary and Teresa had a ball in the pool. Mary has not gotten to really swim around so she was in heaven. When I ask her waht was her favorite part she will say the pool. They both even have little tans. It's so cute.
There were a bunch of us there. The girls were in heaven with all the attention. Now that we are home they are kinda bored with just me all day. They even had this cool fire pit int he back so we could roast marshmallows. Another thing Mary loves to do.
Mary made a new friend as well. Julianna was just about to turn 5. The two of them had fun playing together, when they were not fighting over a pool toy. It was nice to have another kid there to entertain her.
On the actual 4th we had a parade around the lake and we got fireworks to put off on the island. We all sat around the lake to watch them. Fireworks on your own in California are not exciting. You can't buy the ones that go up in the air. All they are are the cone ones that blow out stuff. It got old and boring, but Mary liked it.
We did not have an actual birthday party for Mary this year. I think this may be the last year we can get away with this. On Sunday we had a birthday cake for her and sang. She was happy with that. My goofy 3 year old.
