So I turned 35 on January 31st. I am NOT happy about it. There's no where to go but downhill to 40 from here. That's not a good feeling to me. OH well, I guess.
We celebrated at my mom's the night before. Any made this yummy carrot cake. Decorated so pretty.
Then we were off to Carpinteria to camp for the weekend. Beautiful weekend at the beach. Lovely weather too. And great friends to camp with too. SO much fun with Rob, Michelle, and Brooke.
The kids had a blast on the sand.
And in the water. Too cold form e, but not them.
Mary is digging her way to China.
Santino loved playing with his truck in the sand.
Rob fished. He actually caught a couple perch fish out there.
It was a fun time. Made turning 35 no so bad, maybe. = )

Thanksgiving 2012
This Thanksgiving we drove 8 1/2 hours to Arizona to be with my grandparents for the holidays. It was a long drive, but so worth it. Living in Arizona we do not get to see them often enough. Grandma is 90 and grandpa is 93.
They really enjoyed seeing the girls. The girls were so good with them too. Here is grandpa with all his granddaughters and great granddaughters.
Cousin Dana lives in Texas, so I don't get to see her often either.
Lincoln did so good with all the family and action going on.
Here is grandpa playing with Lincoln. So cute to watch.
It was so great to be able to spend time with grandma and grandpa. Those moments make you appreciate every moment you have with your family.

Santa Syrah
Our poor cat, Syrah, gets tortured by the girls all the time. Well, there was an email sent out to Kevin from his work about a pet holiday photo contest. Well, I got a grand idea to get some pet outfits.
Syrah was not too thrilled with the idea. He's sitting at the sliding door looking out all depressed.
Outfit number two. He does NOT look anymore thrilled to have this one on. haha

Back to looking depressed out the back door. haha
He is the best cat in the world. We love him so.
Daisy Troop 7122
I put Mary into Girl Scouts!!! I'm so excited to have her be old enough to join. She is a second year Daisy.
The first meeting was on Sunday. She was super excited to go. We got all dressed in our Vest and were on our way.
The first activity was to color a daisy picture.
Then they started the meeting. First is to say the pledge of allegiance. You can't see the flag, but it is in front of them.
Next they say the Daisy Girl Scout pledge. See them all holding up their three fingers.
They earned the center patch of the daisy by hearing a book about how a promise is a promise.
One of the leaders, their are two as co-leaders, made this really cute daisy cake. Yummy too.
This is their good-bye tradition. They get in a circle and cross arms to hold hands. The leader starts by squeezing the right hand and then putting their right foot into the circle. This goes around the whole circle. At the end they all, at the same time, lift their arms up and spin out together. It's super cute. I can't wait until they get it down and can do it without even thinking.
Mary had such a great time. She said she wants to go to Girl Scouts every day. I'm so glad she loves it so much!

Disneyland November 2012
It was time for our second family trip of the year to Disneyland!! We were ready to get back after a long summer off.
Our hotel had this cool bunk bed for the kids. They were in heaven.
The first toys of the weekend they got.Day one! Ready to get into the park!!
Yeah, the Tea Cups!!
Teresa was very excited to get to drive her own car. It was a jerky, bumpy ride, but she loved it.
We went on the new Star Tours. The kids loved it. Teresa laughed the whole time.
Kevin noticed the canoe ride was open. It's never open. She he and the kids went on that. Teresa loved any character she sees. She had to get her picture with Aladdin.
Had a little break at the hotel and back we go for more fun and the parade.
Here are the girls waiting for the parade, and daddy to come back with popcorn
Teresa was a dancing machine on the streets with the parade.
On Monday Nana and Papa joined us for all the fun.
Papa was such a trooper and went on all the rides with the kids. Even a roller coaster with Nana.
Cars Land was SOOO much fun. The Tow Mater ride was awesome!
Kevin and Dad got to ride together for it.
Teresa and Mary are in their princess chairs
Teresa and Handy Manny
That night we went to see the World of Color Show. It didn't start until 8:15. The kids were exhausted. Both kids fell asleep before the show. Teresa in the stroller and Mary on the ground.
They woke up in time to see the show, but passed OUT on the walk back to the hotel. Well, Mary woke up enough to smile for a picture. The next morning at breakfast. Showing off our second new stuffed animal.
The last day Kevin had to go to work, so it was just Nana, Papa, the girls, and I. We ran around and did Disneyland.
The kids did Thunder Mountain. They liked it. They both did Matterhorn and loved it. We got them to go on Space Mountain and it was NOT a hit. Here they are eating their last cotton candy of the trip.
Such a fun weekend. So glad Nana and Papa could join us for the fun.
