The other night I had gone out to do something.  This is what I came home to.  Mary and Teresa passed out on the couch.

 If daddy didn't have to be alert, this is how I would have found him.  I made him pose for me.

A fun unplanned trip to lunch with our friends Keane and Nicole.  Keane goes to Mary's school.  ON Fridays it's a half day for everyone.  So we decided to go to the mall for lunch.  It was a fun time together.  The kids were really good for us. 

October Camping

We took a quick trip to the KOA for a little camping weekend away.  Mom and dad joined us as well. 

 The kids had a great time.  They are at such a fun age for camping these days. 

 We had morning paiting class with Nana and Papa.

 Jumpy time!!!

 They even got Nana to jump with them.

 Nana and Mary did the zip line together. 

 Even mommy ended up on the jumpy.  I was so sore from it the next day. 

We had af un quick camping trip.  Love the camp.  Wish we had more time, and money to do it more often. 

VEGAS BABY!! September 2012

Kevin and I have had our summer Vegas trip planned for a few months.  I've been counting down the months, weeks, days.  Then it finally came!!  Kevin had it all planned out, as usual.  Our first two nights were downtown at the Plaza.  We love downtown.  Cheap!

 YUMMY.  A little midnight snack before bed.  Not Weight Watchers approved, but it sure tasted good!

 Our third night we moved to the Riviera down in the strip.  Kevin got this awesome deal for the penthouse suite for $86 a night.  It was awesome! 
Here is just the bedroom.

 There were THREE bathrooms. Yes, 3.

 The bar was awesome.  Comfy chairs to sit at and all the works, just no booze.

 This is the living room.  The couches and chairs were SOOO comfortable.  If there wasn't a casino downstairs, I would have placed my butt on one of those all day.

 This was our balcony.  The full length of the room.  Padded chairs.  So nice.

 We found a slot machine we really had fun on.  It was The Hangover.  So fun to play.  The last morning I wanted to play it again.  Well, I put $20 in, and left with this!

We had such a fun time just being us, without kids.  We need that every once in a while.  Thanks to Nana and Papa, we got it.  = )

1st Grade!

 Here is Mary on her first day of 1st grade!  This is her teacher Miss Chelsea.  She is an awesome teacher.  Both Mary and I really love her.

 She got to make her own name tag for the day.  She put every sticker she could find on it. 

Now time for carpet time.  It took her a bit to let me leave on the first day.  She eventually let me go.  At the end of the day she said she had a fun time and that she did better after I left.  DUH, HELLO!!  Did she learn from her own statement?  NO!  We are still working on dropping off and letting go.  Maybe when she's 16 she'll be ready.  haha

A Horse Of Course

This is what we woke up to in our neighbors yard the other day.  It was just busy mowing the grass.  haha  Quite the site to see in your neighborhood.  There are ranches farther up the canyon from us.  One must have gotten loose and was looking for some tasty grass.  The kids thought it was great!

Aaron Fun Times

We had a fun time with cousin Aaron for about a week.  He came to stay with us for some summer fun.

We love cousin Aaron.  The kids played with him all week and he never complained.  Such a good kid!
