Camping April 2010

We have had this weekend booked for camping for 7 months. In order to book ahead of time for Carpinteria we have to book that far ahead of time to get a good spot. So, the time was here. The weather wasn't looking so great, BUT we were going anyhow. Kevin's niece, Jennifer was coming with us. We were excited and ready to go!! It was bright and sunny at mom and dad's, where the motorhome lives, but as we grew closer to camp it got cloudier and cloudier. Oh well, we were camping and going to have fun no matter what ! We got our spot and set up camp. The sun started to peak through and it was all good. Mary and Jenn went down to the beach and Kevin, Teresa and I went to the brewery and to get fire wood. It was all good in the world!

The next day we woke up to a lot of fog and clouds. UH OH, but OH WELL! Again, we were camping, it will be fine. That's the beach though. You do not leave for the beach any sooner than noon. And sure enough 1:00 came around and the sun was out and we were sitting there getting a burn! It was great! We headed down to the beach and the girls dug in the sand and had a grand ol time. I can't wait for Mexico when they will get 10 days of the sand fun!!

I made sure we had stuff for Mary to paint. So, Jenn and Mary painted their flowers. Fun Fun camping stuff.

Then out came the chalk and Jenn and Mary started making their mark on the ground. Pretty pretty pictures.
It was a great weekend spending time with Jenn and just a good time camping!
