Santa Paula Camping July 2011
We decided since cousin Aaron was coming to stay with us for a while we'd take him camping. We went back up the Santa Paula, where we had been for Mother's Day weekend. We had a BLAST! We wore poor Aaron out with the kids, which helped us relax a bit. = )
Aaron got to be independent and sleep in a tent. We found out we were not allowed to have tents, but OH WELL he stayed in it anyway.

Now it was off to the jumpy for some fun!
Mary was all over the rock climbing wall. She would climb up about 4 feet and then jump down, and start all over again.
Aaron made it to the top, like a pro!
the newest thing to the campground was a zip line. I figured Aaron would want to do it. BUT, once Aaron did it Mary was all over it and wanted to do it. With the weight limit, she could not go alone. So she had to ride with Aaron. They did it 4 times! So much fun. The catch was that it was $10 a ride for one, or $15 for two at once. Oh well, it was worth the smiles on their faces.

Today we were off to Ventura beach for some fun with friends. Cousin Kiah does not get to the beach, living in New Mexico. So we brought her as well. the kids had a great time. Perfect beach weather. It was great!
Below is a picture of all the kidos. Kinda hard to see, but there is Mary, Teresa, Kiah, Brooke, Gabriella, Santino, and Keane. They all had a great time playing together. So nice they are all good friends. AND, us mommies are great friends too.
Aunti Linda was helping the girls build a sand castle. So much fun, until a big wave came in and gave the castle a mote. LOL
Poor Aaron was on kid duty. He loves it and the girls love him. He is such a trooper.That's what cousin's are for!

Florida Friend
Today we went to visit some friends of mine, who were out visiting from Florida. Their daughter, Catalina, is just 7 months older than Teresa. The three of them got along great and played so nice together.

Fantastic Fourth Of July (part one) 2011
What a weekend! I took 140 pictures, so this is a two part blog posting. Bare with me!
Friday morning we were off to Merced, for the 3rd year in a row. Off to go have some 4th of July fun in the sun with friends at Lake Titykaka.
Mary and Teresa were happy to have some other girls to play with while we were there this year! It was nice for us adults too.
Kevin was so excited to get out there and catch some cat fish! Mary was excited to use her Barbie pole too.
Kevin kept catching one after another. He threw them back each time, but he caught 4 in a row that first morning.

Mary turned 5, officially, on the 2nd. We had to have a little celebration for her, of course.
Her favorite gift from Aunt Corie, a barbie pool.

Mary was a water girl ALL weekend. The first thing she would say when she woke up, every morning, was 'can we go swimming?'
This is the beautiful lake on the property. Like a resort.
Off for a paddle boat ride with daddy.
Teresa was quite the water girl as well. She had no fear.
She had so much fun with daddy.
The girls took one break to play with play dough Teresa was sporting daddy's hat.

Playing in the motorhome is lots of fun, nice and cool. It was about 105 every day! HOT!!
