Week of Fun

This weekend we had a fun, quick, family trip to see family and friends.
Here is Teresa ready to go have fun!!
Here is Mary ready to be there!!

First stop was lunch with Margeaux and kids. My kids were so excited to see their cousins.

Kevin and his sister.

Next we were off to go visit Sal, Stephanie, and baby Rafael. He is such a cute chunky monkey!

The girls had so much fun trying to play with him. He's only 2 1/2 months old, so he's not too interactive yet. But the girls loved it anyhow.

Stephy looked so good. Still tired, but she still looked great!

Boutique Time

So I've become a creative cork making fool these days. I saw this cork wreath in a winery and said, I can do that! So I started doing it. I collect corks from family and friends and got some wineries to send me some too.
A friend was having a small boutique and asked me if I wanted to sell. I thought why not! I did not expect much, or anything. But it was a great experience. There were only about 15-20 people who showed up. I sold 4 ornaments and one wreath. It was all good. Got some good feed back. Now to perfect my product a bit and find another boutique to sell at!

Halloween 2011

We headed over to Jamie's house for trick or treating fun. It was a lot of fun with all our friends.

Mary and Gabriella being such good buddies. = )

Kevin and his Halloween costume. Totally fit him. I saw this at Walmart and had to buy it.

Another fun year!

Boo At The Zoo

This was our first year going to Boo at the Zoo. It was fun. Since we our zoo members, we got in early, and got to beat the crowd.
Mary and Teresa are cats this year. Mary wore the mask, for a little while. Teresa would not. So they were kids in black clothes with tails, and meowing. It was cute.

Nana and Mary had a fun time walking around together.

The girls had to have squished pennies. Teresa had fun rolling the arm around to squish it.

mmmmm candy

I love the apes the most, she says~

And this is how the stroller configurations went throughout the day. It started with Mary in front...........

Then we went to Mary in the back all curled up like a pretzel.

Then she decided to lay down and put her legs out the side.
It was a funny picture from the front. Teresa looked like she had four legs. She was not happy out it.

Kids hyped on candy. They were running up and down those stairs a million times.

Look at my own jack-o-lantern smile!!!

It was af un day at the zoo. The kids wore themselves out. It was the first time in a LONG time mary asked when it was bed time. She was passed out hard and slept in a bit. It was awesome. I think we need to do zoo days more often! Good thing we have a pass.

Big Bike Girl

I have to say, this was one proud moment in my life. I am so proud of my Mary for getting on her bike, without training wheels, and taking off. It was such an awesome moment.

She woke up today and asked to take her training wheels off and learn how to ride. So, Kevin did. He took her down to the park and go her on and told her to try. She tried and off she went. It's was AWESOME! She is such a big girl.

Rafael Michael Bausone

Sunday we finally got to meet Rafael Michael Bausone, Sal and Stephanie's little boy. He's so adorable. He is a week older than my sisters baby.
The girls had a fun time holding him and looking at him.

Stephanie looks great. A little tired, but that's motherhood of an infant!

I loved holding that little ham. He is a ham, at 12 pounds.

Boys weekend away

Last weekend Kevin went to Vegas with the boys and left us girls to fen for ourselves. This tradition started 4 years ago. Kevin and his brother take their dad to Vegas for his birthday. My dad tags along as well. They leave us alone for three nights. Well, we made the best of it and kept ourselves busy. My mom helped out a lot too.
One day Mary and I went to get a pedicure while Teresa stayed with Nana. This was Mary's first pedicure. She loved it.

Don, Kevin's dad, used to work at the atomic test site in Vegas. There is now a museum about the atomic testing. They took him there to see it. As a birthday gift, Kevin and his siblings got him an engraved brick to recognize him. They have a walkway with survivors names.

They showed him where his brick will be laid in the walkway.

It was a fun weekend for the guys, as usual. No one really won, but they still had fun. The girls and I are happy to have Kevin back! Happy 83rd Birthday Don!!
